FAQ
How do I
employ an interim?
The most
important part of providing interim
management services is matching the client’s
needs to the strengths of the consultants we
represent. Based on your needs, you will be
given one or more resume’s to review. Each
resume you review represents a consultant
who is known to one of our principals, and
who has extensive experience and expertise.
You will have the opportunity to conduct a
telephone and/or personal interview with the
prospective candidate. If all parties agree
that the candidate and the job are a match,
you have a consultant.
How much does an
interim or project manager cost ?
Each of our
consultants is an independent contractor. As
a part of their participation in Sensible
Consulting, they will submit a profile of
their requirements. The client will work
with Sensible Consulting’s principals to
establish a rate commensurate with the
consultant’s experience, and palatable to
the needs of the client. Flexible billing
plans allow us to bill based on hourly,
daily, weekly, or by the job rates.
How long can a
client keep an interim ?
The majority of
our interim assignments last between two and
six months. We understand that hiring a full
time replacement can be an exhausting
prospect. Many of our clients are so pleased
with their interim consultant, they ask the
consultant to extend the contract to provide
mentoring or coaching for the new permanent
staff members. At Sensible Consulting, we
are sensitive to these needs and will work
with the client to extend the contract if
needed. |
